 The majestic Englishman River is named for an Englishman who drowned when he tried to cross the river.

 The area surrounding Errington is known as Oceanside and is the name given to the region from Nanoose Bay north to Deep Bay along the east coast of Vancouver Island.

Visitors come to Oceanside to enjoy the sandy beaches.  The protected waters of Georgia Strait are ideal for boating, kayaking, sailing or motor boats to navigate the many islands and coves.

Weekly rate $510.00 (7 days - 7th night is free).  Weekly stays have a mid-week housekeeper and linen change.

Personal Laundry done - $5.00 per load (low season only).

High Season Rates:
June 1 to September 15
One night: $115.00 per night - includes breakfast and taxes.
Two or more nights: $99.00 per night - includes breakfast and taxes.

Additional guest $15.00 per night.

Weekly rate (7 days for $594.00)- the 7th night is free.  Weekly guests have mid-week housekeeping services and linen change.

In 2008 we are offering a special for guests who wish to have a nature guide. For $369.00 our guests can have three nights at Hobo's Pond B&B and a two hour nature tour with a Canada Trained Interpretation Biologist.  Our guests can book this special by contacting Marlene at Hobo's Pond B&B (250-248-0682) and/or Patrick Walshe at Coastal Revelation Nature Tours at 1-866-954-0110.  This is a wonderful way to learn about our plants and animals and enjoy our spectacular scenery.  One of the most beautiful nature hikes begins at our doorstep at Hobo's Pond and follows the Englishman river to Top Bridge Park and on to the ocean at Rathtrevor Provincial park.

Breakfast:

BREAKFAST includes: freshly ground organic coffee, herbal or black tea, fresh fruit, fruit juice, home baked biscuits and/or bread, mueseli, yogurt, cereal and/or ham & eggs or pancakes/waffles topped with whipped cream and real maple syrup.  We also make delicious 3-egg omelettes.

BREAKFAST - is served in our cottage dining room.

YOU CHOOSE THE TIME - between 8:00 am and 10:00 am. IF you require an early start (before 8:00 a.m.) we deliver a continental breakfast (muffins and/or scones, fresh fruit, coffee) to your room.

Hi- Season:  $15.00 additional guest per night.
$10.00 for small  pet.

Policies:

We have a No-Smoking policy.

Children:  For the safety and protection of children we ask that parents accompany their children at all times.  We are on a river and also have large ponds.

Pets:  small pets are allowed in some circumstances; We ask that guests ask us for permission before arriving with a pet.

WE OFFER A SPECIAL PACKAGE - $369.00 includes 3 nights accommodation at Hobo's Pond B&B and a two hour nature guide tour with Patrick Walshe at Coastal Revelations.  Patrick is a Canada trained Biologist with extensive knowledge of the flora and fauna of this region.  Check out Patrick's web site in our side bar on our home page.  This package offers a savings of $9.00 per night on your stay at Hobo's Pond.

Cancellation Policy:  A Full refund with 24 hour notice of cancellation.
Bookings made in advance of the reservation date require a 24 hour cancellation notice for a full refund (less a $25.00 booking fee.)
