   Hobo's Pond B&B.

Located on five wooded acres on the Englishman River in the picturesque community of Errington on Vancouver Island, British Columbia CANADA.

From our doorstep guests can hike the trails along the river or relax on the property beside Hobo's Pond.  There is a shallow pool (5 feet deep) in the river at the foot of our property where guests can take a freshing swim.

Tucked into the back corner of the property are two large ponds teeming with pond life:

Spend your day relaxing at several picnic sites on our property.  Read a book, play badminton or sit by Hobo's Pond and enjoy the birds, fish and dragonflies that make the pond their home.

A short drive from Hobo's Pond and you can be at Englishman River Falls Provincial Park where a couple of minutes hiking brings you to a suspension bridge over magnificent falls which crash through deeply carved canyons into emerald green pools of water. The Park has easy hiking trails that follow the river.  A short hike from the first suspension bridge leads to a lower bridge where you can gaze into the deep pools of water or jump in for a cold swim.

The Hobo Room is very comfortable.  We supply a microwave, table for two, small fridge, Queen-size bed with goose-down duvet and cotton bed linens, big fluffy towels, alarm clock, radio, 27 inchTV, VCR/DVD (within headphones), CD player, ironing board and iron.  We provide wireless internet access.  This cosy room has ensuite plumbing with a shower (our own homemade soap).

The loft guest room has a small patio with a table and chairs where our guests can relax and enjoy a bird's eye view of our native trees - cedar, fir, spruce, alder and hemlock and gardens.

We provide picnic sites and encourage our guests to enjoy the restfulness of our wooded property.  Guests can play badminton or croquet, or take a swim in the river.  We have two large ponds.  If you sit by the pond, you just might see our resident raccoon "Zoro" peeking through the tall grasses.  He enjoys fishing at the pond.  We also have a large turtle who lives in the back pond and on sunny days you can see him sun-bathing on a branch in the pond.
